Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RollWise mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by RollWise ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Account Registration
To access most features of the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@rollwisebjj.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
RollWise offers a free tier and paid subscription plans ("Pro" and "Gold"). All subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform. The following terms apply to paid subscriptions:
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time
- Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice provided through the Service
- All billing disputes must be directed to Apple or Google, as applicable, as we do not process payments directly
4. Free Trial
New users may access a 30-day free trial of the Service's premium features. Only one free trial is available per user. Upon expiration of the trial, access to premium features will be restricted unless a paid subscription is active.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access or interact with the Service in an unauthorized manner
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems
- Use the Rollogic AI feature to generate content that is harmful, deceptive, or violates any law
- Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person
6. Rollogic AI
The Rollogic AI feature uses artificial intelligence to provide BJJ-related information and suggestions. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated responses are for informational and training purposes only and do not constitute professional coaching, medical, or safety advice
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any AI-generated content
- You assume full responsibility for how you apply any information received from Rollogic AI
- Messages submitted to Rollogic AI are processed by OpenAI's API in accordance with their usage policies
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of all training data, journal entries, and other content you input into the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. We do not share your User Content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by RollWise and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our express written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROLLWISE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the integrity of the Service. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@rollwisebjj.com.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by providing notice through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Tennessee, except where prohibited by law.
